The Orchard Park Jaycees are the proud organizers of the Quaker Arts Festival. The Quaker Arts Festival is our major fundraiser for the year and allows us to run other community events for children, teens and the general public. The money raised from the Quaker Arts Festival is used to sponsor our Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Earning By Learning Summer Reading Program, High School Scholarships, Thanksgiving Baskets, Letters to Santa, Christmas Angels Gift Program and many other various community and charitable donation programs.
The Quaker Arts Festival is the largest outdoor suburban arts and crafts festival in the Southtowns. Located just 15 minutes south of Buffalo, NY, the Quaker Arts Festival is held the third full weekend in September. There are 300+ artists and craftsmen that come together to show off some of their best and most creative work. The Quaker Arts Festival is a juried show, awarding over $10,000 in ribbons, bowls, prize money and the top trophy to the many talented artists and craftsmen who participate in our Festival.
The Quaker Arts Festival began over 52 years ago by the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church and remained on their property from 1961 to 1964 when the Festival grew too large to remain at that location. The Jaycees took over the Festival in 1965 and have been running it ever since. We are now into our fifth decade of coordinating, organizing and presenting this premiere Arts and Crafts Festival!
The Festival is held at the Orchard Park Middle School Campus at the corner of Route 20A and S. Lincoln Avenue. The hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
